Anum and Paul-Adrien’s luxury destination wedding at The Oberoi Marrakech was the kind of celebration that lingers long after it ends, layered with both emotion and style across multiple days in Morocco.
A few days before the wedding, guests drove into the desert in 4WDs to the remnants of an ancient town outside Marrakech, where celebrations unfolded from sunset through to sunrise. It was the perfect beginning to an extraordinary destination wedding weekend in Morocco.
After a well-earned day of rest, the wedding day arrived at the breathtaking Oberoi Marrakech, one of the most luxurious wedding venues in Morocco. Resembling a palace from a fairytale with dusky pink architecture, grand courtyards, reflective pools, and intricate Moroccan tilework, an unforgettable backdrop for their celebration.
When I arrived at their suite, Anum was getting ready with a bunch of her closest friends, champagne flowing and music filling the room, while Paul-Adrien relaxed in the pool with his friends overlooking the gardens where the ceremony would later take place. The atmosphere felt calm, joyful, and deeply connected from the very beginning.
Anum wore the iconic Vivienne Westwood Cocotte wedding dress. Combined with the romantic setting of Marrakech and the refined architecture of The Oberoi, every moment felt cinematic.
Based in London and having met in Canada, Anum and Paul-Adrien brought together guests from across the world for a truly international destination wedding in Marrakech. Their celebration felt modern, relaxed, and deeply personal. Music is extremely important to them, and they were always the first on the dance floor.
While the scale and beauty of The Oberoi Marrakech wedding venue was undeniably spectacular, what stood out most was the intimacy between family and friends. Every part of the weekend centred around connection, celebration, and presence.
